| IDLE-WILD, 2006 Near to where I grew up in Virginia, there was an estate that had fallen into disrepair. The main house was a mid-1800’s Georgian Mansion that was abandoned during the war and occupied by both armies in due course. Around the mansion there are other houses, each in worst shape than the one before it, each generation branching further and further away from the grandeur of the original mansion. I shot this series of photographs using a 35mm camera that I had converted into a pinhole camera. |
