I have a reoccurring dream wherein I am pursuing a dark figure through the woods. As the slow chase draws me deeper into the thicket, the properties of my environment turn on me, their physics getting stranger the deeper I go. Inevitably, the game shifts and the line between hunter and hunted disappears. Between M&F is a series of correspondence between the dark figure and myself, describing the woods around us, the history of the place, its unusual properties and the complicated nature of our relationship. They are shown in frames that have been reversed suggesting that these notes had been hidden and are only now seeing the light of day.
